Early career

After completing his Advanced Diploma in Emerging Technologies, Sukh Sandhu was granted the opportunity to undertake practical placements at the Solan Center of a renowned USA-based organization. Initially joining the team as a junior web designer/developer, Sandhu’s talents quickly earned him a promotion to the role of Web/Online Analyst – Web Designer/Developer within just two months. Subsequently, he was appointed as the Manager of Marketing & Training for the company.

Sukh Sandhu has showcased his expertise in Information Technology (IT), Information Systems (IS), Business & Management, Information & Communication, Project Management, Training & Assessment, and Multimedia & Web Designing by teaching these subjects at prestigious organizations such as Heights, ZED (A Zee TV Education Centre), NIIT, Aptech, MIT, TMG, Australian Catholic University, CCI, and ICTM. Moreover, he has held editorial positions at esteemed publications such as The VET Sector, The Education Times, and The HE Sector.

Sandhu’s dedication to making a difference also extends to his work with various not-for-profit organizations, including Bharat Vikas Parishad, Junior Chamber International, Melba Support Services, No Smoking Club International, “Adara” Rooh, Save The Children Foundation, Child Abuse Prevention Society, HAPC: Help A Poor Child, and The Alliance for Safe Children, among others.

First paid job and Experienience

At just eight years old, Sukh Sandhu landed his first paid job, earning 20 rupees for performing a dance show on stage during a cultural event.

His experience as a tutor at Webcom Technologies USA, Solan Center, was quite special. Within months, he was promoted to Senior Multimedia & Web Analyst/Web-Designer and Developer, and eventually to Manager at the Institute.

Throughout his career, Sandhu has had the privilege of working with numerous managers from various positions and organizations. He holds Mr. Vikas Dhingra (Engineer) in high regard, as he provided Sandhu with his first significant opportunity. Additionally, he is grateful to Sushma Gurung, the Manager of Enrollments at MIT, and Anna Haranas, the Manager of Training, Graduation, and Professional Development at Gowrie Victoria.

Furthermore, Sandhu has had the opportunity to collaborate with several not-for-profit organizations, such as Junior Chamber International, where he served as a Fundraising & Events Coordinator. This role involved supporting children and young people, as well as establishing relationships and networks among volunteers and host communities. By encouraging and assisting volunteers in sharing their experiences with the broader community, he helped create a “ripple effect.”
